An Uncertain Time uses song, sound, physical theatre and projection to create a narrative journey for both baby and carer, taking audiences on an exploration through ideas of love, loss, hope and uncertainty. It is a tactile, sensory and visual experience that will captivate babies and adults alike. The 30-minute performance is followed by optional playtime in the space.
Neuroscience tells us that critical neural pathways are formed in the first three years of life. Providing infants with quality arts and cultural experience fosters their understanding of beauty, belonging and story.
An Uncertain Time won the 2022 Green Room Award for Outstanding Work for Children and Families.
“My baby was captivated from start to finish! It was so well thought through for both children and adults!”
